How long does it take to receive a custom order?
Custom orders typically take 2–3 weeks from design approval to shipping. I’ll provide a more accurate timeline when you submit your request. Rush orders may be available for an additional fee – just ask!
What types of wood do you use?
I primarily use sustainably sourced birch, maple, and walnut. Each wood has its own natural grain and color. You can request a specific type for custom pieces, and I’ll do my best to accommodate.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently I ship within the United States only. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. If you’re outside the US and really love a piece, please contact me – I may be able to arrange something on a case‑by‑case basis.
How should I care for my wood art?
Keep your piece away from direct sunlight and extreme humidity. Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water and harsh cleaners – a slightly damp cloth is fine if you dry immediately. To refresh the wood, you can apply a thin layer of mineral oil or beeswax every few months.
Can I return or exchange a piece?
Because each piece is handmade, all sales are final. However, if your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact me within 7 days with photos, and I’ll make it right – either a replacement or a full refund.
Do you offer gift wrapping or personalized notes?
Yes! At checkout, you can add a gift note, and I’ll include a handwritten card. Gift wrapping is available for an additional $5 – just select the option when you order.
Can I see a proof before you start my custom sign?
Absolutely. After you place a custom order, I’ll send a digital design proof for your approval before I cut any wood. This ensures you love the layout, font, and sizing.
Are your products safe for nurseries or children’s rooms?
Yes! I use only non‑toxic, water‑based finishes and food‑safe oils. All pieces are sanded smooth with no sharp edges. They’re safe for nurseries, but as with any decor, keep out of reach of very young children if small parts are present.
